so, like, i wanted to do this beta thing. did the purchase, did the /beta command, updated %BetaServer% files,... and nothing. do made a throw-away character on the beta server,... and nothing. logged back into Live, and like, noticed Claims showed the beta pet, issued /beta again. relogged into beta,... and nothing. attempted to "Contact Support" and all the [Sign In] button does is,... refreshes the page! amazing! on a browser that has: no security, no prevention of trackers, no prevention of nefarious scripting. so like, if the process to log into said beta server could, you know, be fixed to function as expected,... that would be great.
Wrong place. There's a whole set of boards for beta somewhere at the bottom of the forum list. That's where the people who can solve beta issues are hanging out, not here.
If they can't do the beta then they can't see forums if their acct isn't being updated or recognized.
so, like, ifn this is the wrong venue, this post can easily be moved. to clarify, the L1 throw-away character was able to land there-in, but the character that issued the /beta is no-where to be found.
ok, so like,.. you know, out of morbid curiosity, i checked the beta server this morning,.. and surprisingly, my character was resident there-in.
