I want to play again, but not speed past my buddy who can't play as often. In past, could move slider iirc to freeze adventure xp. Can I do this on my new FTP characters? Any helpful replies or solutions greatly appreciated
Unless it's changed recently, you can't move the slider, it's locked at 50/50. However I think you can switch off some xp by right clicking on your experience bar and selecting "disable combat experience" and "disable quest experience". As I don't have a free account I'm not 100% sure these will be available, but if they are you'll most likely not only stop xp from combat/quests, but also any AA gain from xp as well. It's only allaccess members who can move the slider to decide how much or how little of their XP is converted to AA points.
FTP can't move the slider still. As a free player you will have to turn off xp. Click on your xp bar (whichever mouse button brings up your menus) and turn off whichever xp you feel you will need to disable to keep from leveling past your friend.
