In Fabled Nizara, killing Sshi'vaez the Studious and her Nizari students triggers the message, "Only the book, Weavings of the Spirit, can cure you now." The book is there on a nearby bookcase. I read it, get the message "You have successfully unraveled the weaving of the spirit!" Then a few seconds later, I'm killed by the non-curable curse with the message "You die as the Thought Weave unravels around you!". I can't re-read the book after reading it once, there are no other books I can find. This doesn't seem right.
It's been a while since I've been there, but I think there are three or four books in total on the bookcases by her. You have to click them relatively quickly in order to completely undo the Weavings....
