Hello everyone :) Is there a way to petition the Devs maybe possibly (pretty please with candy corn on top) to increase (double) the stats on gloves. feet, and bracers? I mean we have two forearms, two feet, and two hands but get one item to wear on both. It's just a thought, but WOW would ppl want to farm (etc) to upgrade those items first!! And please add socks to the game (okay I put that last one in for humor, and to make you read on LOL) Also, can we have a temp adorn depo added to the crafters list?? Or maybe let us drop the temps in a no trade box of some kind? It sure would help keep the bags a little cleaner :)

And again - its just a thought. I was bored during server down time is all. It never hurts to ask/suggest :)

Generally the best stats are on shoulders, then head, chest, and pants. This matches real world experience with medieval battlefield injury. If you research historical armors, the head, shoulders, chest, and legs are usually the heaviest armored, because that's where you tend to get hit the hardest.

Actual armored gloves and gauntlets generally are horrible in terms of protection (clamshell gauntlets are the best of a bad lot) because it's really hard to armor the hands in a way that will stop you from breaking fingers but still allow you to grip. Really, if your hand armor protects you against incidental cuts and grazes, that 's the best you can hope for. Someone who manages to hit your hands with a full-force blow is probably going to mess you up.

Foot armor was one of those things that were a late addition, because it's tough to hit a person in the foot without exposing yourself to damage generally, until we get to the era of fencing with the epeé.

Looking at studies of wounds from medieval battlefield graveyards, the most common locations of typical medieval battlefield wounds was in order of prevalence, neck, head, thighs. hands, torso, shoulders, upper limbs, lower legs, feet. See,for example: Mikulski RNR, Schutkowski H, Smith MJ, Doumet-Serhal C, Mitchell PD (2021) Weapon injuries in the crusader mass graves from a 13th century attack on the port city of Sidon (Lebanon). Did you take into consideration the Scout classes? We need good bracers and gloves for our bows, and hushpuppy shoes for sneak attacks :)

    But not heavily armored ones!
