Boon of the Shadowed Broke?

I've noticed that Boon of the Shadowed only lasts for about 1 minute, the way it used too before the update 4. WIth update 4, it with all the other buffs last about 9 minutes. BUT now that update 5 is out, it only lasts 1 minute again.

Seems to me we're going backwards with that spell.

Please check yours, and submit a bug to SOE.

Never had this spell last more than a minute. Might of been a bug to have it last 9 mins.

i received the spell prior to update 5 but after update 4 and there's no difference today then when i got it ... about 36sec. duration

Used to be MUCH longer before the update. ... like your other player specfic buffs.

not for me, it's always been 36 seconds
same with a guildie Warlock who's 2 lvls higher than me

Has always been just over 30 seconds for as long as I've had the spell.

Even after update 3, before 5 came out? -- Very odd. Update 3 says this:
"Short duration group buffs now last 10 minutes, and single target buffs now last 15 minutes. "
Is Boon of Shadowed not a short duration group buff?

No it's a short duration solo buff.

I don't consider it a buff.

I use it a lot tho.

I'm telling you before the update 5, it lasted as long as the other single 'buffs'. now it's 36 seconds.

It's always been 36 seconds.

36 seconds here also why i never use it its pretty much useless

What does this spell do? I've never really noticed any effect.

Boon of the Shadowed last 34 seconds, and is an upgrade to Accord that last 14 min.

I'm telling you Boon of the Shadowned should last 14 min.

-Never lasted more that what it does now
-If it did it would probably be a bit abusive. I think SoE intends that we not be able to buff all the melee'rs in the party with this and use it mainly to restore tank power so that they can keep up the taunts late in the fight.

But Accord does it... so why not nerf Accord.. while only 5% instead of 10%.

I would use it more if it lasted just a bit longer. But as it is now its hard to time when to throw it on the tank. Even if it was a 3 min buff it would be a lot more usefull.

yay!! now i might actually use it
before update 6 it still never lasted more than 36 seconds though :smileytongue:
