so its probably been 5+ years since i last played,most my toons are level 95. what would be the best way to relearn how to play?
In order to re-learn. I would just take your characters, read the abilities and vibe out how they play. Nothing like slaughtering a bunch of monsters to familiarize yourself again. Otherwise, make a new character and dork around for a bit .. Those are the two methods I'd recommend.
I came back in late 2020 from slightly less time off, but I had the same challenge. For me, what helped was just running through the questlines with my characters to get a feel for them again. At level 95 you'll want to go to Altar of Malice and do those quests to get to 100. Once you get to level 100, you'll get to expansions that will start out a bit different than you remember. Things like Tishan's lockbox at the start of each expansion, to give you a base set of gear. You'll also scale in power much more quickly than before, so the more you get used to your characters now, the better.
Like some wrote. Best way is to make signatures so you wil be 125 fast. If you make the signature with 125 you only need to make weekly and dailies to get currency to get crates with armor etc. Its only a repeatable content so really not hard to learn.
