Hello and good day My beastlord is at level 17 and i have the ranger merc. I was going to try a healing merc. is the druid ok or should i get the healer from new halas ? Or is there something better i should be using? Thanks
I would grab a paladin or shadowknight merc. The tank mercs aren't as overpowered in EQ2 as they are in EQ1, but you'll kill things much faster with a tank merc than with a healer merc. Around level 92 or so, you might want to switch to a healer merc.
I usually run with a healer merc for my beastlords. Usually the werewolf or Doc-Toc. Stamper if I know cures are going to be important. On those very rare occasions when I go with a tank merc I use the vet reward ones which are a pally or an SK. The SK in particular is pretty powerful. I consider him overpowered but to each their own.
