Hello all, I'm a returning player that doesn't plan to pay the subscription. Is it possibile to use the auction house as a "free to play" player?

I can't recall whether or not you can buy things from the broker as a free player, but I know for sure you have to purchase "Broker Tokens" in the game's marketplace to sell items.

Okay, I'm curious, so I logged in to check.

As a free player, you cannot use the EQ2 menu "Broker" entry to look at the broker. You have to physically visit a broker in a town or guild hall to look at items. Even then, you cannot buy or sell without using a "Broker Credit", which currently cost 50 DBC for 10 credits.
