I keep seeing folks in General chat on Fallen Gate talk about how much they miss the PVP aspect of EQ2. While I don't envision DB bringing back that type of server any time soon, I build the good (and evil!) people of Fallen Gate server an arena they can use to duel, host tournaments, settle disputes manno y manno! We still have Duelling here in-game (which I turn off, whenever I make a new toon, but that's me), but I guess a lot of the PVPers want mass unit combat (which still pretty much devolves down to one-on-one "duelling," frequently, unless AoEs are used). :-/ Me, I appreciate not having to worry about open-world PVP; it's one of the very few games out there that DON'T include it, for which I'm grateful. ;-> Uwk who wants to be able to do something else in a game other than worry about being gang-jumped every time I leave a city...or my front door >:-/
