Are we the only class left with a root component on one of our spells?

Unless I'm mistaken every single spell that had a self root component to it had the root taken off except our focused casting. Why is this? FC has become obsolete with the ability to cap cast speed and recovery now, so take the root off so it's at least useful as an interrupt immunity without the root. I'd prefer stun/stifle immunity added to it as well but at the very least the root component needs to be taken off.

The interrupt immunity doesnt even work correctly either. I have sent a bug report regarding this.

I tested it in tox forest pulling a number of green con mobs and hit focused casting to try cast rift. I got interrupted and failed to cast the spell.
