Is there a companion app? I looked around for one but couldn't find one. Was hoping there was one to view characters, talk with guild, maybe research manager in it.
They used to have a PC launcher app way back in the day that facilitated chat features out of game. And they also used to have eqplayers.com and eq2players.com to be able to view your characters or search other characters. But all of that has gone the way of the dodo. Check out http://dragonsarmory.com/ and https://u.eq2wire.com/ for character information outside of game.
You could build your own app using data from census, but chat with people in game is something that was taken out a very very long time ago. Required a lot of manual maintenance...
