I was playing the game as normal on 09/20/2018. I quit the game about 2:30am est. I attempted to log in a little later and was not able to fully launch the game. I validated the game assets and had no issues. I made sure to update all files. I attempted to launch the game several times over the last 2 days. The game will launch as normal to the point of the main screen with the black background but then closes. I checked the log file ApplicationUpdaterApi and saw the following: 2018-09-2200:30:1915375906193324372977844Application updater file not found, filepath=C:/Users/Whiizom/AppData/Local/Daybreak Game Company/ApplicationUpdater/ApplicationDownloaderService.exe. 2018-09-2200:30:1915375906193434372977847Application updater failed to validate, recovery is required. Is there a fix for this?
I would suggest re-downloading the Launchpad installer (click the link in the green box that says "Already have a Daybreak Account? Download the Game"), and reinstall the Launchpad, and see if that helps. If not, you should create a support ticket.
