You should try earning it the way SOE intended when they designed the game....by playing the game....questing and killing stuff. I know some people will say that the game has now far outstripped the new player...prices being overinflated...however all my toons are self sufficient. Indeed my 58 Zerker is able to earn more money than my main through whom I sell all my loot! Yes, you can buy plat legitimately via Station Exchange but only if your server is Server Exchange enabled. Otherwise...welcome to the wide world of Norrath! Join a guild and get them to help you I would suggest.
