<Almost Epic> is a small Central Time guild in EQ2 that is looking forward to the release of Everquest Next. Currently, our membership playstyle is casual, but we do have a long history of progression through raiding.

Currently, our goal in EQ2 is to work on achievement-based character development. This includes both past and present content in no particular order. Our event schedule is dictacted entirely on membership needs. We have found that there is no better way to immerse our characters in the world of Norrath then by using the achievement journal as our guide.

Our desire is to actively recruit those who plan to play Everquest Next
though we will never turn away good people whose interests align with ours.
If you do wish to join <Almost Epic>, please apply for membership on this website and/or contact any <Almost Epic> member in game.

I am very intrigued by this idea. I went to your site and notice that most of the information is from 2011. Talks about ORA etc. Is the guild currently established?

Yes, Almost Epic began ORA (Open Raiding Alliance) in 2011 and it is still going strong with raids 3 days a week currently on Antonia Bayle. As a guild though, many went to SWTOR where we built a guild that is still going strong there as well. A handful of us came back to EQ2 to play casually so the website reflected where we left off in 2011 with raid progression. The guild is established, but small at this point. Our goal is to repeat our success and create a community for EQ Next since those who did come back to EQ2 enjoy the Everquest experience overall. I'll have to update the website. :)

Edit: The website now reflects where we are today.

Still looking for those planning ahead for Landmark/EQ Next

Still accepting players who are looking forward to EQ Landmark/Next. With the release of Landmark approaching, we are planning to transition over as a guild while building a community in EQ2 prior to launch.
