Sometimes the ability does not ward the group once the damage recording has ended. This is getting to be really irritating and should have been fixed weeks ago.
I've seen this occur a few times on my mystic, mainly when I was testing it the other day. I couldn't replicate the problem every time, but it appeared to happen if you still had the ward active, and the duration on that ward ran out while the current one was 'recording'.
It's easy to replicate by chain casting the ability, you get a small ward even if you're solo and do 0 damage. The ability starts refreshing as soon as you cast it rather than at the end of the 6 second recording period which means your second cast records while the first ward is still potentially up. It says this will happen in the ability description but that design is dumb as hell and should be changed.
