A few years ago, I made two arcade games, Centi-Slug and the Claw Game. With what we had available, I was pretty proud of myself. Since then, I have had two dreams...make an arcade home and make a pizza. The final ingredient finally appeared and off I went to make a fun house!! Freeport Sever-Amemyst-large home leaderboards. Entrance-Climbing wall, Climbing Jungle Gym, Carousel (not pictured), hidden Adult Casino (not pictured) First Floor room on left-Arcades and Games. Be sure to keep your tickets to redeem at the ticket counter. (second section of prizes not shown) (see Q'ho in the Dunking Station?) First Floor room on right-9 hole putt putt golf course Second Floor room on right-Pizza Buffet. When I first saw the Uncanny on tour, all I could see in that bookcase area was pizza oven Second Floor room on left-Ice Cream Stand, S'More Station (a slightly burned marshmellow awaits!) with fireplace for cooking, Hamburger and Hot Dog grill (with condiments) Magic Show, Taco Stand and Popcorn Maker. I do hope you'll stop by!
Holy cow this is cool! I love the ball rolling thing with the holes, whatever those are called lol! The pizzas are amazing looking. I can't wait to come see this is person, great use of an Uncanny Estate!
I'm visiting right now and this palce is awesome! I LOVE the Twister, Donkey Kong, Skeet Ball, Frogger.... oh, I love it all! Definately a fun, Fun House *edit to add - And the top hat with the bunny magic trick is one of the cutest things ever! hehe
Love it! I remember you talking about it on the Antonia Bayle Homeshow channel the other night/day (time gets confusing when you're a vampire...), especially needing the "graham crackers"...I'd love to see it in person, but even if I had a character on that server, I don't think my current old hoopy computer could handle it...ah well, when we get a new laptop that can handle the game, perhaps I'll do a Cloudrat and get at least 1-2 (1 good, 1 evil?) characters per server and go visiting properly. ;-> From what I can see, though, it looks wonderful! Just one eensy little issue, and I'm not sure if it's the forum's graphics, my graphics, your graphics when taking the screenshots, or whatever, but sometimes the pix came out really dark. Le sigh... :-( Uwk
This house is super fun! Great job! I especially liked the magic show, with the cut in half Antonia Bayle
This is just way too cool!, reminds me of when I worked at one. I can recognise almost every game in there. Good Job!
The Skee ball was kind of the more challenging ones to make. I had several false steps in fInding an item that I could use both small and larger without increasing it's thickness beyond usefulness. Thankfully Qeynos and Freeport both sell a similar looking bucket. One small and one large. It's like they KNEW...!!! Anyway, glad you like it. I feel like I finally got that bee out of my bonnet with this done.. though, you never know..I could expand it...if i come across new games that need norrathian-ed.
You realize, of course, that this feature of ours, the decorating of non-destructible player housing, is probably THE unique thing about Everquest...other MMOs have raid zones, PvP, even crafting, but who else since Star Wars Galaxies has opportunities like this? ;-> There have been times I've looked at free decorating programs on the Net, and none of them appealed to me nearly as much as this (for one thing, no fantasy elements...fooey). ;-> And for all our muttering about SC and so forth, it's still better than Second Life. ;-> Uwk
Decorating in EQ2 is just sooo appealing. They hit all the right notes when adding this to game and I've felt lucky to be able to watch it evolve from it's humble beginnings to it's kick-butt phase now!
Indeed, Uwkete, EQ2 is an incredible world for those of us who fancy ourselves to be virtual architects and decorators. There's nothing like it anywhere else and I cannot imagine ever being bored with this "game" or feeling like I have nothing new to do. As for this FANTASTIC arcade...I remember this place from a few years ago. Wow, it's coming along really nicely! Great job. ...missing that little thumbs-up smiley as this certainly warrants a 3-thumber!
