Is there a legitimate reason why most of the new gear is all potency? The new cloak, more potency on the armor, which I find strange because wdb was added which is more or less effected by cb, but seeing as if you were to take a cb heavy class and put only the fable armor on you would have more potency than cb. Is there an official answer as to why, or is this something no one thought about?

Pointing out that you keep cross posting the same thread in more than one forum area is not trolling.
They are trying to itemize so more DPS comes from CA and less from auto attack which is why items will have more POT then CB and you will probably be seeing less WDB in general. Class changes, specifically for scouts, are forthcoming in the next 'campansion' (ugh) so scouts will be able to better utilize these changes.
Fairly certain some out-of-touch suit told them to start calling them 'campaigns' and thats their little protest to the silliness.
