Going to be doing alot of traveling and wondering how viable it was to play on those aircards, i.e. from Sprint or Verizon?

Please note that I do a bit of raiding and need to use ventrilo as well.

An aircard is nothing more than a wireless NIC that connects to the service providers network. The speeds are generally better than dialup, most times better than standard DSL, so running the game and Ventrilo should not be a problem.

One word of caution....use of these cards can be prohibitively expensive. Check your plan with your service provider. I'd hate to see you get billed hundreds of bucks while you're out and about.
