Ability Mod... how much do we really need?

    I'm sitting at 5,450 atm and I'd love to reforge some of it out. But I'm not sure how much I can take off without hurting myself.

    2,500 to 3,000 sound good?

    I would stick with the 5k but that all depends on what other stats you are after. if I remember right its dragons armoury that you can check to see how much you get from ab mod and max values

    I dropped it down to a bit over 3000 when I get gear upgrades I'll reforge-reset my new helmet that gives me over 4000 by itself.

    http://www.dragonsarmory.com/ has a tab for this on your character and it will show you what benefits and what has too much etc.

    it only affects combat arts not auto attack and only up to half of that.

    That site says 6,812 is your sweet spot.

    Yeah may not be a fighter on this toon, but that is true of any class. AM will only affect up to half of the base damage of a spell/CA so the most you will need is half of your biggest damage ability (unless they get cute and throw in an AM debuff).

    Everyone will have a different amt depending on your potency.
