+3 Defense vs +3 Avoidance Traditions

    Anyone know which has a greater effect on a classes ability to avoid damage?

    Depends how well they stack. +3 def is more useful to us if it stacks fully, guards are based around tons of def.

    The +5 def I got from my Dwarf Tradition stacks.

    Defense is just about the most useful stat in the game for a tank. Just tossing on my defense buffs has a huge and noticable effect on the damage I take. This is basically what makes Guardians the best tanks.
