Zhaanish, it's now a 2-room, though the devs haven't changed the designation when you zone into it yet (beautiful job on it, though! looks really cool! ). :-/ Uwk who thinks that, surely, it's been long enough now since the expanded houses came out? X-P
I love the colors in that house. Christmas is my favorite time of year... You can never have too much Christmas spirit.
The colors, and completely expanding the second floor! Thought it was just a ceiling treatment with the green stained glass tiles...very cool! Uwk
this house isn't finished, but i thought i would share some of it here. A qeynos house is rather old looking, especially the basement. My client wants this to be her crafting hub. first i needed to make it seem like we were looking out of windows instead of in a basement. then i wanted her to be able to walk out into a tiny grotto with a taste of the big outdoors. the other pics are of the garden and the balcony. we made a tree-lined walkway in the garden and put in a hot tub. and on the balcony, a chimenea. also- what do you use your mailboxes for? these made great windowboxes. edit- i forgot- Aerfren- Butcherblock - and no i didn't use the editor to do this. i usually only use the editor when i am finished and going back to make sure everything is lined up or if there is something special i need to do- like lining up tiles.
I just came back from a long break from game... again. I won't be going to SOE Live unfortunately but in case you wanted to use some images from it here's my house that I did for the challenge I posted a few years back to decorate a house without the editor, this was also before the editing panel with tilt and roll were added to game. Full slideshow http://s6.photobucket.com/user/breakzjunki/slideshow/Super Star Mansion?sort=6 a couple images from it I'm sure there's pieces in my other homes I was able to do without the editor but I can't be entirely certain as I have a very bad memory but this house I know for SURE I didn't use it. Hope you ladies have fun in Vegas (oh and Lera too )!
These pictures are great guys! Oooh, that's right. I remember your No Editor House Challenge now Twinklin! *scampers off to find the old thread with the pics everyone shared in it as well* *edit - found it. Just adding the links to the older threads here so I can link back to it quickly http://archive.eq2wire.com/showthread.php?t=507822 http://archive.eq2wire.com/showthread.php?t=506622
I couldn't think if I'd done anything that was much original lately and then I thought of my chess bed. Now I didn't finish the chair and table in the background yet. and I need to work on the walls some, but the bed is done enough to share. This is part of my Fantasy Resort home that I will be publishing soon. Each room has different themes.
Sorry, I forgot to put in a note. This room was not on an ideal axis for using the layout editor, so I did do the floor and bed without the layout editor.
aww thanks guys, I feel so loved! and yup I am proud of my work and the houses I worked on. finishing up my New Halas house today, just needed one thing and I'm completely done.
Hey all! Just wanted to let everyone know I've downloaded all your lovely pictures and saved them with file names using your character/server, so I know how to tag them properly. I'm admittedly running way behind (I have to be at the airport 24 hours from this post) but these pics are saved on my flash drive and laptop, so unless I magically manage to do all my packing super-fast today, I'll work on getting them ready to show at the panel on the plane and/or in the hotel room. It may not be until I get back home next week that I will have time to put it on the interwebz for you all to see, but it will get there! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH... it was wonderful looking through all of these beautiful creations and I'm excited that we have the chance to show them at SOE Live as well!
That's a decorative axe, turned so the hilt is used as the faucet end and the axe head is buried in the wall. http://eq2furniture.com/index.php?item=decorative runed executioner's axe
Yep! That (I don't think there's an EQ2 decorator alive that doesn't love those things!) and a couple of the Billiard Balls from the SC Casino collection for hot and cold handles; I used the non-stripy ones for the pedestal sink that's not in that picture ("behind the cameraman," as it were). ;-> Uwk
I use it allllll the time. I love how nice it looks as a faucet at a sink, tub, and as a shower head.
