[off topic] I lost my father yesterday

I'm so sorry, Colby... my daughters lost their dad to cancer about 5 weeks ago (we'd been divorced for 15 years). So hard...

I was very sorry to read that you lost your Dad I know when I lost mine I went through a bit of a rough patch and yes, there was lots of stuff that had to be done and not much of it pleasant. All I can say is that it gets a little easier with time.

My condolences.
My father died February 6th around 4 a.m.
I didn't expect it to happen this quickly.
We buried him on 10th.

Been raining ever since.
Just like 2 days of sunshine in between.
2016 sucks

I lost my mother to cancer 5 years ago, and it's never easy. Even after all this time.

But I find writing a journal to them, talking to them (even in your mind) and taking everything you see as something from them (butterflies are my mom's thing) that you will know they are still there with you.

Deepest condolences to you and your family during this difficult time - I know the pain you are all feeling very well and personally.
