    We are devastated to hear of the passing of Brad McQuaid and are eternally grateful for the EverQuest Universe he was instrumental in creating. His effect on all of us, the gaming industry overall, and fans of EverQuest and RPGs is immeasurable, and been life-changing for so many.

    Continue your great quest, Aradune. May your next adventure be even more grand than this one.

    His passion for these games was very evident in his work with EQ and present projects such as Pantheon.

    So sad to read of his passing.

    Everquest has been a hugely important part of life. The world he and the team designed has been my second home for so many years and gave me so much pleasure and so many good friends.

    I truly hope Daybreak will honour his memory with something very special in game, maybe a new holiday in game.

    Very sad to hear of this today. I was reflecting back to the muds we played back in the early 90s last night. I don't have the words to express the loss.

    I only hope his work continues to inspire many new words to come.
