I am new to Ever Quest and am interested in creating a character and starting game play. Can I get some direction...thank you very much! TinSnips
Download and install the game, run all the patches. Logging in, I believe the default setting is to have your characters do the Tutorial. I highly recommend this. Also note that your UI will probably be a mess. You can move and manipulate the windows to the way you like, lock them into place, or even delete windows you don't want. Have at least 2 chat windows, one for talking, one for damage. Set the filters so all talking goes to one and all damage text goes to the other. As a free account, you get: 4 races and 4 classes. Any combination of those will be fine for the game, log in and enjoy! You get: Warrior, Rogue, Cleric Wizard. Warrior is tanking, cleric is healing, rogue is melee dps, wizard is spell DPS. Figure out which type you want to play and run with it! We can all answer more direct questions once you've logged in and done some of the tutorial.
