crashing to desktop when zoning

Patch broke something.

Yep same, on two of 4 machines in my household. Tried verifying game files and updating GFX drivers.

Same thing keeps happening to me. Tried both of those and it still keeps crashing.

On my other 4 accounts no such crash happens though.

Something is changing in the UI_charname_server.ini files. Certain characters crash while others are fine.

Same thing here on all my characters. Zoning and then game crashes to desktop with no error. Fixed it . Custom UI. Copied the file from default folder and I can zone fine.

list of zones zoning in to while crashing:
Plane of Knowledge
Crescent Reach
Guild Lobby
Blightfire Moors

All on Vaniki server. Using classic models. UI Engine is Off.

Confirmed it's an issue related to custom UIs, per usual. Fixed the issue on my end by copying today's updated EQUI.xml file to my default_mod UI folder.

I assumed it would be this and did the same and it's thus far been fine since..

The line from EQUI.xml that is new is:

Add that anywhere to your custom EQUI.xml file with the other <include> lines.

If you copied the default folder as a work around, thats now a custom UI.

Not copied and the default dir got
EQUI_NameReservationWnd.xml in from 04.17.2024 and
EQUI.xml in from 04.11.2024 got <Include>EQUI_NameReservationWnd.xml</Include> line

so that should fix crash, but then i crashed 04.19.2024 ?????

I would try turning off RedGuides and Turning it back on after running the LaunchPad patcher system to update the game client files
