I think an easy solution is to release all tiers of content at the same time. No more staggered releases. Design the final tier of raids around a full 54 man raid geared in T2 gear of that expansion. This should spread the final results out. It would make one hell of a raid day.
If you need video evidence then you would need about 3 different videos of all that's going on after the first event is starting in some of these guilds lol Having instances pre-opened, running to set banners, player/class swapping ect The current system is fine, if there are no rules set for such stuff, It's game on and see who gets done first. A week later no one cares, its just farm your gear for the next time.
The amount of power increase between expansions raid gear is a tiny amount you know that? To have a final tier so far above t1 gear that it would be almost impossible, the jump from t1 to t2 would have to be drastic. Like at least 2 expansions in raid gear, and what would said reward be? Only melee weapons got a massive upgrade this expansion, and that was also seen group wise. Next expansion we will be back to the magic % increase on everything
Wait, don't they all practice on Beta and give feedback? So they literally dictate how the events will be tuned, and then know every strat on release day, and then somehow people consider that a competition still?
