For Cleric Raid Gear in Laurion Inn expansion Are there any tier 1 items (drops) I should get over tier 2 (trade skill)?
get your standard needed focus items in T1 and grind your neck. get T2 when the prices drop. you're durable enough gunderbunnies
Hekaton is right, and it depends on your loot system of course. Laurion's Song, so far, is another expansion where, if your Cleric is fully raid-tradeskill geared from the last expansion, you literally don't "need" any upgrades, as all of the raids are pretty easily survivable without anything new. So, really there's no wrong answer. If your raid force is farming all of the events, every week (or every lockout) then by mid to late summer this year, you'll probably be watching alts loot a lot of things and many non Valiant items rotting. Fill up any focus or weak spots with the tier 1 stuff, especially if you can get it cheap and your dkp cycles or rots off (may as well spend it) let other players fight over the valiant. Spend your coin only on Valiant pieces or just pick it all up toward the end of the year, as it honestly won't make much difference to your effectiveness throughout the year. Certainly not as much difference as your tanks or dps classes, or squishees on the team.
