Noisy Familiars

Can we get some way to mute or ignore these talking familiars?

People sit afk in the guild lobby all day long and spam us with these stupid things. You can't /ignore the player, /hide afk, /hide pets, /hide players or anything else. Since it all goes to the /say channel it is the same channel that is needed for raid NPC emotes, so if I turn it off, it will cause other problems if I forget to turn it back on. These familiars are almost as annoying as someone popping a jester.

Yea people popping a party popper are annoying as crap but yet they think its cool.

I have several of the talking familiars but when I have them out they don't seem to talk- not sure what I am doing wrong there. Plus I think they are kind of funny the ones in the lobby (well it's mostly just one)
