TLP idea ... no krono, anything goes.

You haven't played the game long, or are being dishonest.

Only way that would be possible is if they created a new subscription that was only valid for that single server which would doom it from the start.

Krono didn't ruin the game, it saved the game. You may not like it but without Krono and the Marketplace there would be no TLP's at all and maybe no EQ either

Lets remember before Krono it was just a platinum driven market for the same exact services. Players that wanted to get a jump ahead would go to a 3rd party site and buy the platinum. Hungry platinum sellers hogged camps,sold raid loots, and sold accounts/PL services then too.

You just didnt see it so much because there wasnt nearly as many players packed into those older servers. Eventually platinum sales became so common that they decided to offer KR and bring that revenue in house.

Ill agree the game was different before KR and marketplace store. It meant a bit more to be max level and have a sweet set of gear. Part of me longs for that feeling of accomplishment. But, these are fast paced run through on special rulesets. Every 2-3 months you are back to that grind to keep up. If you have family and demanding job you are sacrificing to much without all the extra services imo.
