It is handy for characters on a suicide trip when boxing or just forgetting about their role tag. That role has killed my toons more than everything else I think, as the range is much to short.
Yes, the puller tag is there primarily for changing merc behavior. Anyone know if that Main Tank tag has any impact on Merc Healer priority? I have heard it does but I haven't observed it. When boxing, setting another toon as the MT lets you use MT target on Xtar to keep track of what the box has targeted without looking at the box screen. Can this change merc healer healing priorities?
Puller tag prevents the merc from healing too early which gives him agro and gets him killed. It also keeps my merc from running out with me when I go to pull.
