Daybreak needs to really look at the formula for chase loot for weapons. The formula is current chase loot is based off last expansion's raid T1 with new expansion's focus. Well because Daybreak changed the weapon damage stats with LS they broke the formula. So currently LS memoryforged weapons are worthless and have less damage than any group weapon in LS. Also for some odd reason Daybreak left the pet focus on memoryforged at NoS level and not the new level for LS. Which makes that one worthless as well. So if the formulas do not change then the chase look for this 2 year cycle is going to be almost useless save for non vis gear. Please address this I do not want to waste two years on this chase cycle.
Only the melee weapons are useless. The pet focus is far better than the group drop, as are all of the regular items.
Correct the melee LS chase formula needs updated. Aslo yes the pet ear is better than grp, BUT every chase pet ear has always had the current expansion pet focus not the last....
The ultra rare drops have always been copies of raid items but with different names. They've also had the same focus effects as those items. Some of the new ultra rare drops currently have new expansion focus effects, but that will probably be changed. The ultra rare pet focus earring that started dropping in ToL is the Summoner's Blood-Soaked earring. It is a copy of Drop of Klandicar's Blood from a raid in CoV. Both have EM 29. Zelnithak's Pristine Molar is the T1 raid pet focus earring in ToL. It has EM 30. Meeko's Malachite Masterpiece is the T1 raid pet focus earring from NoS, and it has EM 31. The memoryforged summoner's earring should be a copy of the MMM and have EM 31 while the raid drops in LS should have EM 32. If this is not the case, then there is a bug.
Melee Weapons Memoryforged is broke, the ratio does not match that of the T1 Group weapons. Either they need to update the Memoryforged or nerf the other stuff.

I would expect the focuses will be dropped down a rank and hopefully weapon ratios are bumped up above T3 group weapons.
That thread was solely about the focus. There was nothing in the original post about the damage, so there's no indication they did anything about the ratios. Remember, they only fix EXACTLY what is reported...they never take initiative and fix anything beyond that. They likely fixed the focus... and that's it.
