Surely someone is on call. After being busy with the family it would have been nice to play tonight. Oh well, more booze is called for!
Just to be clear, this is not *just* about the log-in server. Some additional error or other is crashing people out when they zone/die/switch chars.
It would be good if those who have lost experience either because the rez timer is running or because the crash came on zoning had their losses restored to them on this occasion.The group I was a member of had just virtually completed a partisan quest in Ankexfen Keep for a guildie who has been unwell and is trying to catch up. All that was left was the final hail. If an on call system is being operated then on this occasion it failed and some action to redress the situation should I believe be given serious consideration.
It is down now for 13 hours already. Any Information on what time server is coming back would be nice
well, the thread has been tagged "in progress" and they announced at the top of the forum about an hour ago that they are investigating an issue with AB. let's hope they find a solution soon.

Well,we are about 16 hours into the troubles and still no clue what’s going on. Wonder if they’re willing to apologise with 100% bonus XP just for Antonious bail server over the weekend. If it is a hardware issue (which it likely is), the server is in the Netherlands. It is very unlikely that the company that they contract to handle the server there is going to do anything quickly. It is likely that most of the employees of this company have the week off, so if it isn't a simple fix it will not get done until the New Year. If it is a relatively simple fix you can at least hope that there will be a maintenance tech available at least one of the days from here until Friday.
Be it as it is, but is it really too much to expect some minimum courtesy to inform their paying customers what is happening? Probably yes. Imagine you are stuck in a broken train for hours without any information. Oh wait...that happens, too.
This issue was still being worked on when I finally went to bed at 2am CST. It is still being worked on this morning. As soon as there is any information passed to be on estimated times, I will pass it along.
