Please fix this bug asap. One guy in the starting zone has the undead merc area permanent camped with his 40 boxes. The xpac is great, however no picks isn't. Nobody cares about nostalgia either.
If the devs hold true to form from previous years, they're all on holiday vacation now and nothing will be fixed until the January patch.
Which is really terrible support from a company perspective. Release broken content and don't be around to correct any of it.
They may be around for a few days after launch, but I don't recall them ever really fixing the serious, big, bugs. I remember lots of things that made it unfun to play being left until January's patch...the bug with OS agents not recovering being at the top of that list. In the and, all it required was a hotfix that we had to wait more than a month for...wasn't even a full blown patch with downtime.
IIRC there is some sort of bonus around Christmas, not exp but increased rare spawns? That's going to be a really unpleasant experience when people decide to work on their Hunters and there will be only static zones.
The two big bugs I see now are no picks, which is a big problem. The other is Laurion Inn lag, which is pretty bad.
Nah, the botters are happy because they own the zones and are monopolizing the flow of T1 items to casual players. That's all Daybreak cares about anymore, that the Krono mill continues to run. Bots hoover up everything, inflate the economy, use Krono for their subs. Casual players get pushed into buying Krono to afford things, pay for what the botters have. Now the PL spam that exists on every server is going to get used even more with Peronas not getting achievement experience chunks to get through 111-125. No other way to really explain away 40 and 50 bots running around 3 or 4 different zones on release day and not a CSR in sight. Ngreth was even present on EMarr, in Laurion's Inn, at his keyboard, while it was happening.
When is this patch supposed to go live? Not even worth playing until there aren't 100 people competing over 5 mobs even at 2AM.
Can you take a few minutes and actually BAN the bot crews that said FU and were going 24/7 since launch? They have made completing quests and hunter a XXXX show. They did it right out in the open saying they either don't care about a 7 day suspension or have no reason to believe a real Ban will happen to them. Risk / reward right?
