I think you forgot to even look at who wrote post #3.

An annoying sound that comes to mind is the creaking/squeaking needs to be oiled noise the horses bones do on the dead version horse of the Ghostrider's Bridle.

I've not played with sound since 2020. I did turn it on once when I was sitting in LFay waiting on the named spider to pop and was taken back with the ambient noises and the zone music.

But as soon as the combat started, it was awful.

Even to this day, I can still remember the terrible crack noise you hear when a red mob crits you (I'm thinking of you Orc Legionnaire). Obviously, the skeleton cackle, the wasp buzz and the druid casting sounds as I played a druid back then.

I think my fav sound is the ear bleeding ping of a level up. Gotta love it.

havn't had sound on in eq for bout that long as well. 95% of the time i got music going on itunes or such.

I have music set to 0 and overall volume about 1/3 of max. That said, I did set up audio triggers for my assassinates (this certainly helps in Beta to know when a mob is getting assassinated when it shouldn't be).

The skeleton cackle and crunch sound is great. The one sound I hate is the loud shriek when you hit a rat.

Could always make your own, Something like @ 5:21 would be cool
Can anyone make that as a Headshot? I would love it!

The rat sound could make a cool ringtone.

I don't like the loud roar on a Vah Shir player character being hit in melee.
