… in 2023 and, if they are, what era do they begin on progression servers and where can you find info on current ones? I’m paying for the xp boost perk monthly, using db points for the xp potions, and trying to remember every zone that was known for higher xp (can’t find a current zone xp list but found one from ‘07ish), trying to make sure I’m not missing anything else.
Yes they are still a thing. Would not need a list if the game had good UI. Like a window could be in achievements or quests. Tab called hotzone. Open the window, goto the hotzone tab, see the listing. Do the quest without having to have all 20 of your toons hail, level 35, accept. Day after day, Week after week, Day after day. QoL, QoL, QoL EQ is behind times compared to other games, other games the dailies appear automatically already accepted, use the UI to check out the dailies. No tedious legwork. 1 to 80, basically follow this route, just because its a hotzone doesn't make it better. 1-10 tutorial, 10 - 20 blightfire moors, 20 - 35 sola, 35-50 solb, 50-60 greigs end, 60-65 barren coast, 65-70 tbs, 70-80 dragonscale hills. Some of those zones may already be hotzones, if they aint the hotzone alternative isn't really any better. ex. Silyssar, New Chelsith if thats a hotzone, don't even waste your time, its garbage for xp.
