So, this is not something that should happen often. But the event becomes unwinnable if it does. We had somebody get the dark heart emote. While running to get cured they bumped into the small golem and got bumped. They landed on the ledge around Shar Vahl and before they could get back onto the bridge the timer ran out. They died and we got a shadow add. However, the add was tethered to the spot the person died and could not be moved. Additionally, since it was not on the bridge it just kept healing up could not be killed. Meaning the named healed and could not be killed.
Sounds similar to what can happen in the Oubliette raid if someone dies outside the room while the Shadow Chainers are up.
Yes but in that case you can make some argument that it was intentional to force people to fight on the platform. In this case with punts that can kick you off the bridge and were specified as them designing it so people could get kicked off the bridge that the mobs should be pullable back to the bridge or should run back there instead of summoning and killing people.
Pretty sure thats not what the response meant, only that unintended consequences can happen when there's an action against the player outside the intended play area, which also happens in Oubilette.
Same thing happened to us, although it was stuck in the tunnel. The add could not be pulled out of the tunnel and continuously regenned to full and healed the boss.
