The cleric synergy line of AA's states it fires off of the "syllable of Invigoration" line of group heals but once getting the current max (synergy IV) the lower syllable spells will not trigger any form (I-III) of the synergy effect.. The lower level synergy trigger spells should still work on their respective synergies but do not which is annoying if one is trying to use the lower rank synergy to take advantage of Mastery of the Past AA to keep from fizzling.

Synergy AA and most of the focus AA for each class work off of specific spells these days, not spell lines. In the beginning, it was a spell line...somewhere along the way, for some stupid reason, they made it work only off of one specific spell. Which is why, in level increase expansions, it doesn't really pay to buy those AA until you've leveled up enough to buy whatever triggers it. You'd have an AA for a spell/ability you don't yet have. This isn't a bug...that's just the way they work these days.
