Discord Tower Key Achievement

Discord Tower Key (10 Points)
"This key unlocks the entrance to the Citadel of the World Slayer"

I have done these raids multiple times now and I have yet to see the key in any of the chests. Can anyone confirm how to get this achievement? I am at a lost.

I have done all the progression and all of the final raids.

Have you actually clicked to zone into tower, or only taken banner in?

Clicked the door and got the raid instance myself and zoned in.

Beats me then, gotta be missing some sub-flag.

You aren't only doing the "hard" version are you? Could that be it?

I have been doing the hard version. Keep in mind the "Key" for the achievement drops in the chest according to alla. I have yet to see any "key" drop for "alt" flagging.

Loot (Normal: 54-player version)

Chest loot includes 1 Tower Key (flag) + 2 Glowing Entropic Runes + 2 armor pieces (first list) + 2 other items (second list)

Loot (Hard: 36-player version)

In the hard version, the chest contains 2 Glowing Entropic Runes + 1 armor piece (first list) + 1 other item (second list)


No keys from the hard versions

I will have to give normal a whirl...

I did this Thursday. The keys drop in the normal version.

Don't gate/port out when you're done. You have to leave the tower and then re-enter from outside for it to count. Looting it on its own does nothing, and it's not something you can click for credit.
