I began this EQ journey back in 1999 and it has been pretty great. EQ has changed for the worse the last 4-5 years. I'll miss this game. L8r G8rz.
everyone comes back, just because its a part of your life now and youll miss the sitting in pok or your fav sit zone looking at inventory or chat
[quote="Jeebs, post: 4146005, member: 448549"stuff.[/quote] You made a new account just to be a butt? Really? Be funny if at was an alt account of the OP's Otherwise, go find someone to give you a hug. You need one.
Sadly, you're not alone. Quite a few players have cancelled accounts since the beginning of the year and it just seems to be accelerating. It's sad to see it happen because EQ was, and sometimes still is, a great game and the community is genrally pretty good (with a few trollish exceptions) Happy journey and have fun in whatever game you ultimately decide to go to play--even that crazy MMO called Real Life.
Cliché to follow: Every new beginning comes from some other new beginning's end. People come and go for reasons all to themselves. I quit to start a business. Now the business is successful. Is the business successful because I quit, or was it really just an academic exercise in discipline? NFC. Only have this reference. Prior to that, in game I became a jerk because I was sucking in both RL and EQ. One is really easy to solve. If I came back to EQ, I probably still have the in game jerk baggage but my clients in the real world profess that I am A-OK. Perhaps its a decision where what you give up IRL is not worth what you get in compensation in game. Everything is a balance. Good luck with your endeavors, OP.
