Your point? Even if I filled up every slot.. even if I didn't have MULTIPLE VENDORS to summon. (which I used none and had bag space left over), 670 plat could easily carry on another 4 hrs of play time. 1 toolbox = 8 slots for 1g 5c You start with 1 backpack. 2 slots for food/drink 1 slot for tutorial clicky RS buff. Maybe slot for fellowship insignia. Buy 9 toolboxes for 9g 4s 5c (you have more than enough to do this right out of the tutorial). That's 76-77 slots. That's a lot of FS, and more than I picked up for sure. Now, before the space for spells etc... In 1 hour I went through 11 levels. Let's just call it 10 levels. That's roughly 2.5 levels every 15 mins. More likely, it was closer to 3, 3, 2, 2. That's a lot of carried spells to be memmed and free up space really quick.

Its never been worth it to use a lower tier merc to save money. Some people would kick if you hung them with a new rope.
That J5 merc tanked whole rooms of red-con frogs in LGuk, named and all, with barely a scratch. It was beyond OP.
Agreed. I never have used a merc. of a lesser god. New or old, if a rope goes around my neck, I will kick. In any case, as easy as it is to get plat. on a Live server this should be a non issue there. And if the complaints are coming from a TLP server I will choose to view it as part of the price for those seeking that old time retro feeling. In any case, loot a few gems and you are golden. Or, as seems more likely, put the complaints about it on the forum carousel and let it join the rotation behind account transfers, forum censorship, epics, class balancing, and all of the other perpetually repeating topics here.
