No, I was clear about it being upgrades to the 4 Fight Fire chase items: Torn Efreeti Boots, Djarn Tarnished Amethyst Ring, Tattered White Satin Gloves, and Threadbare Weighted Tabard. They were called 'FF chase items' in era. You are more excited about responding than reading. lol.
Instead of the 4 Fight Fire chase upgrades being locked to one mission, the casino ticket would allow it to be an ultra rare among all Luclin Part 2 missions.
You want them to make unique items just for the casino? Why would they want to make it so players could purchase items for plat? Why do you think making items like that won't encourage people to bring more plat into the economy? I have seen you make plenty of posts about people farming plat through means you don't like and this seems like it would just increase their customer base.
Are you trying to be a contrarian for the sake of being of a contrarian? As I said several posts ago, Daybreak needs to permaban automated or AFK platinum farmers instead of the "slap on the wrist" known as 7 day suspensions. Automated farmers will exist as long as Krono, expansion keys, tradable chase items (no trade FF-type items addresses this), tradable cosmetics, and other items of value/interest remain in game. If someone is legitimately farming platinum only to dump it in the casino, then more power to them. Why should anyone tell them how they ought to play if they are following the rules?
And that is not at all related to this thread, you need to stop dragging it off topic by bringing in what punishments you think they should be doing. Just because I point out that this could increase the demand for plat and bring in more of it to the game doesn't mean we need to go off on a tangent about punishing people. I would wager most of the people who have the large amounts of plat won't care about the casino and the ones that do will end up trading krono for plat.
Benito you're on the forums enough to know that Waring constantly questions others. Just as you do. It's not a knock on either of you. Promoting discussion is fine. But don't act surprised at the retorts. It's par for the course and you know that better than most.
1. The only real threat to an influx of the platinum supply are automated and AFK farmers. Rule-abiding players are limited by their time. 2. Automated farmers need to be permanently banned so they "learn their lesson" or do not come back. 4. If a rule-abiding player is dumping his/her platinum straight into the casino (to be destroyed), it doesn't add to the overall platinum supply. I'm not sure if we play the same game. Whales in EQ have huge egos. They love to show off or complete their collections.
Your comment may end up derailing this thread. There's a difference between me and Waring. I target specific types of threads: pro-cheat threads in the noble pursuit of upholding Daybreak's anti-cheat rules. Waring can turn a totally innocuous thread (cosmetics) into a war zone. LOL.
I don't think the overall point was wrong though. You're both vocal about your opinion and not afraid to challenge others. I think that's an accurate assessment of either of you. Again, nothing wrong with that, but I don't think that either of you will deny the truth in that. Regardless of the topic you're taking a stance on or towards, that's not in scope.
Let's be fair: I don't go into totally innocuous threads and raise hell. When I fight, I fight against people who want to promote cheating.
Promoting an idea for a new casino in ToL part 2 is great and I think it would be a nice upgrade to the one in SoL. Suggesting that it would be a plat sink and that it should award chase level gear to players is a different matter. I don't see how they would ever consider adding chase level gear that players could purchase for plat or how it would act as a way to remove any significant amount of plat from the game.

No, I think it's a disservice to lump people together based on a few interactions on an internet forum. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it if I made generalizations or assumptions about you out of the blue.
But that's all anyone has to go off of here. Your forum reputation is built on your interactions here, and here only. You're absolutely right that I don't know you, and what you're like in any other aspect. But, people do make observations based on the interactions they do have. Waring will poke a hole in almost anything, you will constantly dissent against any whiff of cheating, although to be fair I think you go off on other things sometimes too (see this thread). That's my observation and generalization based off the interactions you've made publicly available here. Not that I think your overall personality is that way. But it is what you convey here, and that's what I have to go off of, and I'm going to form my expectations and understanding off of that information and I don't think that's unreasonable.
