"Check the chest on the far end of the Shak Dratha training cavern" Spawns boss, however there are two steps before you get the step to kill boss. We had this also. We were on the 'Return south.." step and killed the boss. This should be fixed so that if you kill the boss it marks that step as completed no matter if that is the step you are on or not.
