Not sure if this has been mentioned before or if anyone else is having this issue, but I've been unable to create new Hot Buttons for my weapon sets. Mostly get "Error: Could not create hotbutton. Type /hotbutton for help" And this is also with the Default UI and not any custom..
Check to make sure you have available social buttons. If you don't have any empty socials you can't create more hotkeys.
Im in that same phase of eq. All social buttons are used. When I want a new one I have to search through the pages to find one I no longer use.
Yup that's what it was. Ran out of social buttons. Feel foolish that I'd not thought of that, but glad I did come here and ask. Problem solved and thank you all for the help.
They should add some sort of info on the Bandolier window, or a popup when you try to make a hotkey, that says something like "This will create a new social hotkey. Please make sure you have an available social hotkey slot."
