What kind of anti-free trade, anti laissez-faire, anti-capitalistic nonsense is it that Daybreak has capped the number of traders in the Bazaar? Would someone be kind to explain?
The ability of the server to handle the load? Having an unlimited amount could cause massive server lag or server crashes?
Its an attack on you personally. I'm glad it worked. Do you feel persecuted? Are you happy now? your welcome.
I miss being able to cast TL to bind twice and have people in the bazaar LD so I can have a trade slot.....
In modern society, building capacity has always been regulated by good fire marshals. This is just common sense. Now, this isn't real life, so its based on zone load capacity instead and as stated before, it has always been there, take your complaint somewhere else
The current limit is 1000 concurrent traders. On the Mischief server this limit has been met for several hours a day each day, mostly in the North American evening time, during the past week or two. Reference: [Wed Jan 12 05:59:19 2022] Welcome to The Bazaar! [Wed Jan 12 05:59:19 2022] There are currently 1000 traders selling a total of 28770 items in the bazaar. If you try to setup a trader by clicking Begin Trader in the /trader window when the 1000 limit has been met you get: [Wed Jan 12 05:59:53 2022] The world has reached the maximum number of traders. Please try again in a few minutes. If the trader count dips to 999 or below you can quickly try to start a trader and it works: [Wed Jan 12 06:00:24 2022] Welcome to The Bazaar! [Wed Jan 12 06:00:24 2022] There are currently 999 traders selling a total of 28727 items in the bazaar. To get an updated count of the current number of traders you can click the "Welcome" button at the bottom of the /baz window. The command "/w trader count" may work too but may include people whose name starts with "trader", untested. The above log outputs showing counts came from pressing the "Welcome" button on the /baz window.
Its an issue on 1 TLP server. Stopping Thorneblade players transfering loot over to Mischief to sell would go a long way to fixing it.
They could solve the problem of some people not being able to trade by disabling the bazaar on Mischief. Then everyone can sale their goods the old way on an equal footing. Problem solved, problem staying solved.
