Someone on the Bertox server has set the General channel to 'moderated' meaning no one can speak in it. Hard to play a social game when the main means of being social has been taken over by an idiot. Find out who it is and 'moderate' their account for a month or two.
I would petition this issue as the GM's who are likely the ones to fix the issue are not likely to see it here.
