Do Heroic chars get more AA points?

    Hi all,

I play with 2 characters, a druid and a shaman, the druid is my main char, the shaman is a Heroic char I bought a few months ago. I've got both chars leveled over 105 now, did auto grant along the way for both of them. The druid has about 25.5k AA and the shaman has about 27.5k AA. I've been focusing on their exp so the shaman hasn't been collecting extra AA or anything, same 90% exp 10% AA setting for both of them.

Is that just the nature of a Heroic char, some extra Heroic AA?

If I hit the Upgrade Character button for my druid, will he lose all his levels back down to 85 or would he gain the extra AA points of the shaman?

    Thanks!

Not how it works. Different classes have more or less AA. Pure melee have the fewest, hybrids have the most. Shaman have more than druid mainly due to all the pet aa they have.

If you upgrade your druid, you'll gain no regular aa, you already did autogrant, you'll just gain any skills or progression aa that are included with heroics that you didn't already have.
