Not sure why, but when a mob dies that has a faction hit associated with it, I am experiencing between 5-10 seconds of serious lag. Almost frozen until it clears up. Have noticed similar lag with non faction mobs, but not nearly as bad. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
Add your eq folder to your exceptions in Windows Defender, if you don't want to add it all, make sure you add the logs folder.
Also, depending on how old your toon is, Alt J and make sure that is disabled. See following thread Usually pulling monks and bards tend to get smacked by this 2003 feature.
