Howdy Guys, Any chance of looking at getting Chalandria's Fang scaling upgraded for the summoned poison pot. As it currently results in the single Spider's Bite XVIII poison every 20hrs could we possibly look at it getting its scaling bumped up to the current level or perhaps give us an upgraded item path. Be nice for the cash poor toons that cant afford the exorbitant prices for the Velium Laced Nigriventers or at the very least MASSIVELY increase the drop rate of the Velium Nigriventers as they seem to be a rare drop unlike the other Velium introduced poison components (Gormar's etc).
This has not scaled for a while.Pretty sure it stops at the level 95 poisons. I 'think' it was considered an overpowered item once the dust settled. It effectivlay shut the player made market for stuff down. Which irritated the rogue's no end. Now if you want a poison you have to get one from someone who can make them.Considering the time ,effort and plat it takes to skill up any tradeskill. it's a decision i can understand, even if i don't like it much. I have several of them on various toons. On my main it's now in the bank.
It got nerfed just after I bought it. I would love to get my value from it. It's pretty rare not everyone is going to have one. Maybe they could scale it to make equivalent of last expansions poisons. At least it would have some value in group content.
Velium Laced Nigriventer Venom drop rates were already increased. Also, casters don't get clicks that crap out Dragonmagic/Restless Focus clicks or anything close. Chalandria's Fang was OP in that it allowed players to circumvent farming, tradeskilling, and/or commerce to obtain a (previously) highly useful poison.
I'd also like it to be possible for characters to obtain this. I believe it is no longer possible to obtain.
Comes in legends of whatever packs. I got one a month or two ago and its sitting on my trader where no one wants it for 50k. Its not hard to get.

1 poison per day is hardly overpowered. When used they dont last that long an hour if your lucky and dont burn through mobs. Really not seeing this increased Nigri drop rates, I've seen plenty of gormars though that thing is so common I no longer loot it and let it rot.

If I remember correctly, the Fang came as a prize for beating a scenario in LoN, not as a random loot card.
Originally, yes. My wiki link has the information on how to beat that scenario. However, since LoN no longer exists, that won't get it now.
It's getting a little rarer now that LoN has been shut down for a while. It was pretty common when LoN was going, a simple match that was available for a month every year is where it originally came from. I have several sitting in the claim window on my accounts and I helped several others beat the match when it was available that way. Just about anyone who wanted it originally got it back then. I do agree that it sucks that it no longer scales, even as a Shaman I would click and melee just for the hell of it. And with the 1 per day limit it's not game breaking even if it was the current ToV version, most people who really use them go through a lot more than 1 per day.
It only drops off spiders, kill more spiders....it was increased from first release, it's just pretty crappy to farm since it is only off one mobs type verse the Gomar which is on everything.
