    Hi, we have been trying thi raid already a few times, and there's something that puzzles us ...
    is Seneschal Radiant Propensity not intended to be melee DPS'd at all ? ... after less that 2 minutes he starts to AE ramp for 12-14 blows in the same round and each round it hits our raid geared melee dps from 15k to 60k a hit, most times 100% accuracy and on the high side, thus one rounding them from 100 to 0, up to a point that makes melee not worth to anymore after 1st death as they get one rounded again before rezz sicknes is even half way off.

    Is this a bug, intended, or some mechanic we are missing ... we know about birds, Bond, charm stuff, CC , but this 'feature' we have no idea how to deal with

    I don't know the exact nature of the mechanic, but essentially the rampage hits are divided by the number of people in melee range. The fewer people you have in melee range, the more damage each individual person takes.

    So, to the contrary, it's generally better to have everyone in melee range.

    - splashes/healer alliances are your friend.

    Part of your problem is also that Rampage/Wild Rampage/Flurry don't have internal cooldowns, and can sometimes be spammed 2-4 times in the same second. That will obliterate anybody that isn't effectively immune to damage. That's an EQ problem though, nothing you can do about it.

    He AE rampages about 40 times each time, that are shared with anyone in melee range.
    The less people you put in melee range the more times those people get hit.
    The more people in melee range the less times everyone gets hit.

    Pets can take hits also....huddle up the raid on him and bury him in pets
    Keep your raid tight on him
