Congrats guys, unprecedented. I do kinda wish we had seen how fast you all could have done it without the extra flags.
3 days huh. And isen't underfoot one of the harder ones? (unless they nerfed it at some point) Im really hoping selo won't be like this. Im sure there's an audience for people who like to instantly clear expansions then farm them for 2/3 months, but it sure ain't me. Guess we'll see.
Rushing to instantly clear raids is the express purpose and entire design of Selo. Granted, you won't then be farming it since a new expansion will unlock a week later and require the same rush all over again.
Without any external funneling, 18-26 days was the projection I had had the flags not been changed. Some of the final flagging events are no joke, Brell with 30 flags can get pretty rough too.
I’m curious how many unique characters took place in this accomplishment? Were your early splits each 54 character raids or were you three splitting T6?
We had about 58-61 mains, plus around at least a quarter of that in boxes. Our path was the following: Split Fippy, Split Beast, Single Unborrowing (45 T6 keys -- 54 total with pigs for T7) Brath, Guardians, Queen, 4x Badgers splits (28 T6 backflags 45 T7 flags -- 54 with pigs for T8) Fungal Forest, Deconstruction/Creation Trials, Lichen Creep (30 Amulets for Brell) We didn't test Convorteum at all and could've easily had it the prior day if we had. Spent probably way too much time on a few of the events, event 3 did not properly trigger unless you had people unshrunk, achievements should've probably been ignored. Nonetheless, we all had an incredible time throughout launch, it was quite the rush!
How dare you! I'm expecting Gatekeeper, Slumber Party, and Grand Slam before the expansion ends. Work your magic.
It was a lot of fun overall, definitely some long nights in there. People really did a great job working through tasks and just making sure we could request raids as we got access to the zones. The overall increases to player power really make a lot of the raid events look very different from how they were on Live or Fippy. Unburrowing for sure would have been added to the split list, the DPS boosts just make it much easier and more stable. As always, OGC is looking for talented players to join us for this farm season while we prepare for HoT. Talk to Satoshi, Scornn, Azzira, Talaana or Froogle in game!
